« Governor Awards State’s Highest Award to 4 LAPD Officers | Main | Unprovoked Shooting, Caught on Tape »

November 30, 2006

I never thought I would see the day that Johnny Mack would step up and support the LAPD especially in this very critical incident.

I hope that his followers will understand that the LAPD is doing its best to be transparent and open to the community. If this is accomplished, he will have done his job.

Will a copy of the report be open to the public? if so how?

To the question "Will a copy of the report be open to the public? if so how?" it says near the beginning of Mr Mack's message that "A full account of this incident will be provided in a public report on the Commission's web-site in the near future." The Police Commission's website is

In the meantime, the District Attorney's separate but related report on the incident is online at

Kudos to the commission for doing the right thing this time. Now further the correct ruling by NOT paying Mrs. Pena 1 red cent!!! She is guilty of child neglect, at the very least, in the first place for knowingly allowing her daughters to be in the care of a drug using degenerate murderer! And thank God none of my fellow brother and sister Officers were injured or killed! As for you SWAT operators, it was an accident and you guys do a great job! You guys do like you always do, pull up your boot straps and march on! You can't control everything and you did the best anyone could have done! The only one at fault here is Pena!

All My fellow Warrior cops Stay Safe!
Ed O' Shea

Thank you for directing the blogger to the correct site for this information. This report along with other Use of Force reviews are available for anyone to read. As soon as I become aware of the reports release I will post the information.

Brother/ Fellow Warrior O'Shea,
Kudos to your response, I couldn't have said it better myself. As a former Operator, no one knows better than I do that you can only do so much to conrol a situation. Sometimes things happen and all you can do is strap on your boots, buckle up the chin strap, and go back out and give em hell.

"Ed O'Shea", although some of what you say, as in this post, resonates as truth for me, it is not clear whether you are really a sworn officer, and if you are, what agency you represent, since no one in LAPD South knows Ed O'Shea. So it is really hard to know if you are getting your information from old Wambaugh novels or your own experience. I looked for you in the areas you describe, and did not see the rampant lawlessness and vicious danger you describe in your other posts, not even after dark. I couldn't find you either... but I did meet a lot of hard working street cops who told me they didn't have much time to sit at a computer. I know you are real; but who are you, really?

I have thought all along that the only murderer of little Susie Pena was the sick father! It is so sad that you need a background check for many jobs, you need a test to prove your ability to drive a car, but any unstable person can become a parent!
Let's not judge the mother, because we don't know what type of abuse she endured, what type of fear she felt. It's easy to criticize her if you have not walked in the shoes of domestic violence. I haven't walked in those shoes so I can't really understand it myself! It's just really sad she didn't get the help she needed.

While their are many "cop posers" on the internet it would be highly unlikely he use a full name so people could check him out however nothing has ever been mentioned were he is from ect..

Cops know real cops and anyone can be anyone on the net. It would be a little time consuming asking everyone to prove themselves and most real cops don't feel the need to prove thier authenticity to someone who "Loves LEO" AKA badge bunny?
Whatever the the case I hope you get my point and if he is really a cop he probably doesn't feel the need to explain himself to you or give out anymore info!

You don't need to write back a insulting post to me,my skin is thick and please don't ask me to further prove my authenticty because I don't care what a little badge bunny or cop groupie thinks nor do I have to prove anything neither does Ed.

Thanks alot for the support. You are obviously a warrior cop. You have again proven your warriorness to me by verbally attacking a woman who supports law enforcement personnel. A true warrior cop despises anyone who may not be another warrior cop.
Keep your warrior chin up, brother.

By the warrior way, I tried to look myself up in the department e-mail system and couldn't find myself. That's right, I'm such a warrior cop that I don't show up on department rosters.

To Loves LEO's: Thank you for caring enough to look for me, but I do work in South Central and no Ed O' Shea is not my real name! Any one who works down here that realy does work knows who I am, they just don't know that I post on the blog (when I am OFF DUTY) unlike some of these people that post on here that claim to be hard chargers, I don't have time at work to sit behind a computer and wax about the good and bad that goes on. And some of these brain children that think I would use my real name on this blog, obviously have not been involved in enough to be aware of the practices of our PSB! And as for some of these callow pretenders, well I can only shake my head in discust!

Thank you,
Ed O'Shea

And by the way some hump is using my name on this blod and he is obviously a poser who cold care less about the ward work that real Warrior coppers do.

To the real Warrior coppers past and present, Stay Safe
Ed O'Shea
