Mayor is squandering our tax dollars with his pork projects, typical of a man of his ilk! No on Prop "S"!

Also our Chief doesn't take the necessary stand to challenge the Consent Decree and the stand up for his Officers it demonizes and punishes! Especially in light of the facts, which do not support the theory of wide spread corruption across the board with the LAPD! To the contrary, all of the facts support that the men and women of the LAPD are hard working and doing the right thing, even when no one is looking! The major victims in this consent decree era are the citizens of Los Angeles! Less Police on the street and more mountains of paper work punish the Officers for making arrests! If the Chief would like to prove that the clean up of NY was his policies and not Rudy calling the shots? Then take a stand where it counts and place your vast resume and clout on the table, lets see if it can help make this city truly safe! Crime is going to go way up and I don't think that's the legacy you want to leave with Los Angeles! We are Policing on borrowed time, and soon with no gang and narco Officers of substance, this city is going to be in the hurt locker!

If you would like to thank me Chief, do it by standing up too this Judge Feess! Do it by demanding this consent decree be lifted and show the Feds that it was unnecessary in the first place! If our city leaders back then had a modicum of intestinal fortitude or intellectual honesty we wouldn't be in this mess! Furthermore you would have the Officers you needed to do the job! Also if you want to get more Officers on the street? Get all these squints and sick/lame & lazies off their collective tails and out on the streets where the PEOPLE of Los Angeles need and deserve to have them! These Officers sat across the table at their entrance interviews and waxed about how they wanted "to protect and to serve"! And now they're getting writers cramp, poor eye sight and lazy sitting on their tails doing jobs we should be paying a citizen force to do! It's just embarrassing! When you pin a Badge on you should be expected to be a real POLICE OFFICER, not an admin pogue! Get all these guys and gals on the front desk, off their butts and out on the streets! Instead of talking about putting more Officers on the streets, actually DO IT! Now I know that their are legitimate cases where Officers have legitimate injuries, but the majority are lazy and milking the system! The legitimate cases need to be treated appropriately and the abusers need to be identified and dealt with! To do something about our lack of Patrol Officers on the streets, this would be an achievable start, before arguing you need to raise taxes! We need to spend more wisely and there is much that can be done to put more Officers on the streets, before going to the people and raising their taxes even higher! I guarantee that if you look at the "Best Practices" of these other Police Departments across SoCal and across the USA, they are not hamstrung by the issues we are! Now, lets not be so arrogant that we cannot see how inefficient we are and lets make the necessary changes! If we don't do it soon, we will never be the great LAPD that we once were! Right now we are accepting mediocrity, and that should be unacceptable, if not too you, then to the people of Los Angeles!

Ok, stepping down.

Stay Safe!

IS IT ME OR DOES EVERYONE ELSE HEAR BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH AND BLAH, WHEN THE COP SPEAKS...ED THE WAY I SEE IT EVERY SQUINT INSIDE LACKS THE WARRIOR MENTALITY, SO LET THEM HIDE...BUT THANKS SHOULD BE GIVEN TO CMDR.S.JO McArthur WHO SHOULD BE CREDITED FOR NEUTERING THE ACADEMY, OR AS I HAVE HEARD FROM SOME HIGHER RANKING SUPV'S "LAPD BERKELEY CAMPUS"...THATS WHY OUR CURRENT ACADEMY CLASSES ARE UNSAT.
