Los Angeles:
Los Angeles Police Department Harbor Area Homicide detectives are
asking for the public’s help in providing any information that would
lead to the arrest of the suspect(s) who killed 27-year-old Leonardo
Siro Islas.
On November 1, 2012, around 7:25 a.m., Islas was found by his neighbors
dead inside his apartment. The neighbors called 911 and Harbor officers
responded to the 1070 block of West 252nd Street. When officers
arrived they found Islas suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper
torso.
Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded to the scene and pronounced Islas dead.
The motive for the shooting is unknown. There is no suspect description. The investigation is ongoing.

This man was a wonderful father to two little boys that adored him. My prayers are with his family.
