On Wednesday August 6, 2014 in the evening hours Ameenah Rasheedah Freeman, mother of the two missing children was seen without the children. Freeman was disoriented and still unmedicated at the time she showed at her mother’s home. Ameenah Rasheedah Freeman left the location as soon as a 911 call was placed. Both children are still missing.
Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department Southwest Division detectives are asking for the public’s help in locating 8-year-old Emanuel Freeman and 9-year-old Adoniah Freeman who were taken by their biological mother.
On Monday August 4, 2014, around 3:00 p.m. the suspect took the children from the 1700 block of West 35th Place. When they did not return, the grandmother reported the children missing on August 5, 2014 at around 10:00 a.m.
The suspect and children were last seen in the North ridge area at around 4:15 p.m. in a maroon 2011 Ford Edge with paper plates that have “Airport Marina” written on it.
The suspect may be heading to Phoenix, Arizona where the biological father may be living.
Emanuel Freeman is described as an 8-year-old Black male with black hair and brown eyes. He stands 4 feet 8 inches tall and weighs approximately 94 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt with a “Mario Brothers” picture, black shorts with white stripes and black sandals.
Adoniah Freeman is described as a 9-year-old Black female with black hair and brown eyes. She stands 4 feet 10 inches tall and weighs approximately 97 pounds. She was last seen wearing a pink dress with white flowers.
Both children suffer from asthma and require an inhaler on an as needed basis.
The mother (identified as suspect Ameenah Rasheedah Freeman) is described as a 37-year-old Black female with black hair and brown eyes. She stands 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs approximately 160 pounds. The suspect was last seen wearing a black dress with black sandals.
