This matter is now in the lap of the L.A. County D.A. who should demonstrate the political courage to institute indictment proceedings against the "out of policy" LAPD officer!

John, don't make comments on what you don't know. Being "out of policy" is an administrative finding on DEPARTMENT policy, not criminal law. Just because it was out of policy does not mean it was criminal. Civil, yes, where the salivating lawyers are already sharpening their briefs, but not criminal. Or the DA would have already had charges prepared.
