The motive for the shooting is unknown.
Anyone with information is asked to Rampart Homicide Detectives Mike Arteaga or Carlos Silva at 213-207-2060. On weekends and during off-hours, call the 24-hour toll free number at 1-877-LAWFULL (1-877-529-3855).
Any idea what happened this morning (2/11) around 3:00 AM at approximately Ave. 50 and Echo St. in Highland Park. There were gunshots, and police blocked the street off for a couple of hours.
Thanks,

How come this blog dosnt mention any thing negative about the LAPD. I've read numerous articles and newcast about the LAPD that never makes it on this board, such as the LAPD officer that was barricaded inside his house recently, and how the LAPD is losing the recruiting battle against the Los Angeles Sherrifs and other Agencies. Not that I'm a LAPD hater, I just want to hear everything about LAPD, not just the good stuff...
