I noticed the large jump in murders. I wonder how high this category will climb when all the Gang officers transfer out due to the Financial Disclosure requirement of the Consent Decree? The sky is the limit.

As a law abiding citizen, I am tired of watching and hearing on the news of the horrible wave of gang related murders in LA. It is obvious that nothing has worked so far. I feel this is the time to take radical measures against gangs. One humble suggestion is to activate the National Guard, which along with local law enforcement agencies, search every single home in gang infested areas, identify gang members, encarcerate them and confiscate their weapons, money, drugs, etc. No more counting bodies at the coroner's office. Action is immediately required to stop this nonsense criminal activities.
