UPDATE: UC Berkeley Student Goes Missing Near USC

Updated: Earlier today the Los Angeles Police Department's Missing Persons Unit learned that the California Highway Patrol conducted an investigation of a tragic traffic collision that took place on the Eastbound 10 Freeway on Saturday, March 28th around 2:25 a.m. During the investigation, the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office confirmed that the pedestrian struck on the freeway was unfortunately our Missing Person, Mr. Eloi Vasquez.
The family is understandably very distraught and has respectfully asked for privacy.

Los Angeles: The family of 19 year-old, Eloi Vasquez and the Los Angeles Police Department Southwest Area detectives are requesting the public's assistance in locating him.
Eloi was last seen on March 28, 2015 around 1:30 a.m., in the 600 block of West 28th Street attending a party with friends. Eloi advised his friends that he wanted to take a walk. Eloi left the party and did not return. Concerned friends tried to make contact with him the following morning but had no success.
His family is concerned that he has not been located. Eloi did not have money or an identification card with him.
Eloi Vasquez, is described as a Hispanic male with black hair, brown eyes, stands 6 feet tall, and weighs around 175 pounds. He was wearing a white t-shirt, grey pants and white tennis shoes.
Anyone with information on Eloi Vasquez whereabouts is asked to contact Southwest Area Watch Commander at (213) 486-8582.
