Hit and Run Collision Leaves Victim Dead

Hollywood: Los Angeles Police Department West Traffic Division Detectives are asking for the public's help in providing any information that would lead to the identification and arrest of the suspect involved in a hit and run collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian.

On Sunday, December 6, 2015, around 3:30 a.m., West Traffic Division Officers received a radio call of an "Ambulance Traffic", in the intersection of Ivar Avenue South of Hollywood Boulevard. When the officers arrived they found 24-year-old Robert John Ryan lying on the ground.

The driver of the vehicle fled the scene without identifying himself or herself and did not render aid to the victim, a violation of 20001 (A) VC, Hit and Run.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to the location and pronounced Mr. Ryan dead at scene.

There is no suspect or vehicle description and the investigation is still ongoing. There have been no arrests made at this time.
