On January 2, 2017 at 5:50 p.m. Van Nuys officers responded to the 3700 block of Longview Valley Road in the City of Los Angeles for a burglary radio call. When officers arrived they found that the suspect entered the location by climbing onto the second floor deck and kicking in the glass door. The suspect reached in and unlocked the door. Once inside the suspect took a small safe, a handgun, miscellaneous papers, and jewelry. The suspect then dragged the safe and property down the stairs and out the front door where the getaway car was waiting for him.
Surveillance video cameras captured the suspect inside the residence and leaving the residence. Video footage also shows the suspect being picked up by a getaway car.
