Commissioner President Steve Soboroff opened the meeting and a quorum was established. President asked for a moment of silence to reflect on enormous tragedy that occurred in Las Vegas two nights ago.

Department’s Report, dated September 27, 2017, relative to the Unclaimed Monies Audit (Audit No. 16-029), as set forth. [BPC #17-0379] was approved.
Department’s Report, dated September 27, 2017, relative to Narcotics Analysis Laboratory Trust Fund Expenditure Plane No. 20, as set forth. [BPC #17-0378] was approved.
Department’s Report, dated September 27, 2017, relative to the Proposed Small Unmanned Aerial System (sUAS) Deployment Guidelines, as set forth. [BPC #17-0380] will accept the Department’s report and direct the Department to post on the Department’s website the sUAS Deployment Guidelines for a period of two weeks for public input.
Assistant Chief Beatrice Girmala gave the Report of the Chief of Police. Chief Girmala thanked the community for the outpouring of concern regarding Department personnel that were attending the concert in Las Vegas. She provided a year to date update on Part I crime.
