Sexual Assault Suspect

Boyle Heights: Los Angeles Police Department's Hollenbeck detectives are asking for the public's assistance in identifying a sexual assault suspect.

On March 17, 2018, around 3:30 p.m., a 13-year-old victim and his family attended an event at a church near the 1700 block of Cesar E. Chavez Avenue. After the event ended, the victim used the upstairs restroom. An unknown male suspect approached the victim and punched him in the face, knocking him down to the ground. The suspect dragged the victim out of the restroom and attempted to place him in a storage room. The victim lost consciousness as the suspect attempted to rip his shirt apart. Around 5:30 p.m., the victim was found unconscious in a secluded stairwell. The victim awoke and complained of pain to his rectum. The suspect fled in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as a male black, bald or shaved head, beard, light colored eyes, possibly green. He was last seen wearing a yellow long sleeve T-shirt, light blue jeans with designer tears, red Timberland boots with light tan colored soles.
