Murder in Sylmar
Missing 54-Year-Old Female

Burglary Suspects Caught on Video

Los Angeles: The Los Angeles Police Department’s Pacific Area Burglary Detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying burglary suspects.

The burglaries involve a Black female in her 20’s, who is posing as a Post Mates delivery person. She knocks on the door or rings the doorbell while holding a bag of food. If the resident responds, she announces herself as a Post Mates delivery person and says she has their food.

When no one answers, she waves over the other suspects, usually two male Blacks, also in their 20’s, and they respond to the rear of the residence. The suspects enter via an unlocked window or break a window to enter.

The suspects then proceed to ransack the residence, placing the victim’s personal belongings in bags and pillow cases, before exiting via the front door. The female is usually the driver, and they have been seen in various newer model vehicles with paper plates.

All the burglaries occurred between 4PM and 8PM.

There are at least four burglaries in Pacific Division with the same suspects:
-3000 block of Stoner Avenue on Friday, August 3, 2018,
-12000 block of Marine Street on Wednesday, August 29, 2018,
-12000 block of Clover Avenue on Thursday, September 6, 2018,
-3500 block of Grand View Avenue on Friday, September 7, 2018.
