Drive-By Shooting Leaves 1 Dead

Wilmington: The Los Angeles Police Department's Harbor Area Homicide Detectives are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the suspect(s) responsible for the drive-by shooting death of 18-year-old Raemond Jarrod Santos.

On September 30, 2020, around 1:50 a.m., Raemond Jarrod Santos was sitting in his vehicle in the 1200 block of North Drumm Avenue. Mr. Santos was parked at the east curb when a vehicle with unknown suspect(s) stopped next to his vehicle and fired multiple rounds in Mr. Santos direction.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to render aid; however, Mr. Santos succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased just after 3:00 a.m.

At this time, the detectives do not have any leads as to the suspect's identity and are asking for the public's help. Detectives are asking for any witnesses, who may provide a description of the vehicle, to please call Harbor Detectives.

This is incorrect, age is incorrect and the scenario is incorrect. This was a double homicide, an 18 year old and a 19 year old were both killed same time same place same car. People have been calling detective cortez and he does not return anyone's call, how do we know? The community talks.
