December 23, 2020
Los Angeles: Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department's Rampart Area are seeking the public's help in identifying armed robbery suspects that were involved in two separate robberies on the same day. Both incidents were captured on surveillance cameras.
On December 5, 2020, around 3:00 p.m., the suspects entered a convenience store in the 1300 block of Temple Street, approached the counter, and showed what appeared to be a handgun. While pointing the handgun at the employee, the suspects demanded money from the cash register. In fear, the employee complied. The suspects fled from the location in a brown or gray Chevy Malibu.
Later that evening, around 8:28 p.m., the same suspects were observed entering a discount store in the 2200 block of Beverly Boulevard. The suspects brandished handguns while demanding money from the employees. The employees of that store, also in fear, complied and gave the suspects money from the register in addition to other items from the store. The suspects then fled the location in the same Chevy Malibu
Suspect #1 is described as a male Hispanic, 20 to 30 years old, black hair, brown eyes, and facial hair. He stands 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs approximately 240 pounds. He was last seen wearing a red Golden State baseball cap, gray shirt, and black pants.
